Lauri Kettunen

Lauri Kettunen, born in 1962, has co-operated several years with Hannu Hautala filming the wildlife in Kuusamo and Koillismaa.

Together they have produced several TV-programs for the Finnish Broadcasting Company, and, in addition, made video and slide shows e.g. for the Kuusamo Nature Photo festival.

Lauri Kettunen's fulltime job is a professor of electromagnetic theory.

Hannu's Land of Happiness

In this program Hannu Hautala talks of his book "Land of Happiness" and
explains how the cover photo was taken. Hannu also explains what it takes to
work as a wildlife photographer and the many advantages
Kuusamo has to his work as a professional wildlife photographer.
The length of the program is about 15 minutes.

Colourscape of the Wilderness

The program is based on the live concert held in the Kuusamo Nature Photo
2005 festival in which Heikki Sarmanto improvised on a concert piano in
synchron to a video containing the photographs of Hannu Hautala's book
Colourscape.
The length of the program is about 14 minutes.

In the Lap of Brown Nature

Lauri Kettunen and Hannu Hautala have produced together several TV-programs
for the Finnish Broadcasting Company FBC and channel FST5. "In the Lap of
Brown Nature" is an episode of the color theme series and was completed in 2005. The
program is based on wildlife footages of Finnish nature with the help of classical music.

Still Wilderness

This is the final episode of the short programs Lauri Kettunen and Hannu
Hautala produced to the Finnish Broadcasting Company, channel FST5. The
program tries to generate the same calm and relaxing state of mind one can
feel in the wilderness without the hurry and pressure of the everyday life.
